I’m guided to begin offering what I’m calling Energy Broadcasts. These are little overviews of the current energetic landscape, along with some ideas of what might make navigating a bit easier. It has been a time when many have been feeling anxiety and a sense of ungroundedness – not really knowing where to be or what to do. A literal wandering around trying to find where you feel comfortable, and yet every place feels a bit off. There is nothing to do about this. Just be prepared to take it a bit easier than you might normally choose to do. Be prepared to be a little antsy, a little discombobulated. Take a moment to breathe deeply – that helps with the anxiety. Know that much of this is not particularly your own stuff – that your boundaries are permeable and you are more likely to be absorbing things that aren’t necessarily yours. So be aware of that. Practice maintaining your boundaries. Practice good energetic hygiene. Try to get outside – spend time outside just standing on the Earth. That can be helpful.
I’ve found it helpful to do things, although not necessarily the things I thought I should be doing. Very little linear stuff from the to-do list is getting tackled. But as I’m inspired, I do something. Pay attention to the pictures, the stories you are telling yourself, and if they are not helpful, drain them of their energy; and soon you see they are paper tigers that deflate and can be moved out.
My Guides tell me grounding from the heart is the new way. Move energy down from the heart to the Earth, and energy up from the heart out the crown. And then circulate the cosmic and Earth energy within.
You ask, what would be some helpful things to know at this particular time:
Empty your mind. Release the thoughts. Drink water. Move. Movement is good. Get the energy flowing. Do things differently, shake up the routine. Cleaning/organizing/releasing things can be helpful on many levels. Release what doesn’t fit your energy anymore and make room for what will be coming.
Not everything that worked before will work now. There is an element of finding new ways, and so it is helpful to let go of expectations that what once worked will work again. Be open to finding new ways. It doesn’t have to be difficult – don’t get caught in anxiety that what once worked doesn’t. Know you will find what you need.
Lemongrass is a good essential oil to use in this moment. And manganocalcite can be a helpful stone to work with.
If you feel you need a way to focus your mind and your usual practices aren’t working, try drawing a tarot card, or choosing a single word and focusing on that. Either is appropriate. It will give your mind something to ruminate about and help it release other things it is churning over.
