Today’s KIOS blogathon prompt is:
10 things I know for sure
1. I know we are all big bright beautiful Beings each embodying our own perfect Divine Soul Blueprint, and we came here with gifts and treasures to share.
2. Anagramming makes everything better. For example, in any given moment I, Deborah Weber, can transform into these wonders:
- Wore A Bed Herb
- Awe Robbed Her
- Beware Herb Do
- Who Barred Bee
3. It’s important to keep your ears tuned to your heart’s whispers.
4. Love letters are the currency the world should run on.
5. Poetry, Music, Art, and Chocolate are the soul’s 4 favorite food groups.
6. Winter in the Midwest requires a good moisturizer, hand lotion and lip balm. My current fave indulgence is Tokyo Milk’s Honey and the Moon, decidedly in part because of the wonderful box and the equally lovely metal tube container. The box is the perfect size holder for my favorite Pigma Micron and Pitt artist pens. Win-win I’d say.
7. It’s an odd laws of physics but breakfast served as dinner tastes exponentially more delicious because of the lateness of the hour.
8. I’m a better dancer and singer in my dreams than in waking life. Astonishingly, jaw-dropping, standing-ovation better.
9. My friends and the universe and All That Is are continually conspiring to bless me beyond measure.
10. I know this to be true without a shadow of a doubt that Ram Dass is correct – “We’re all just walking each other home.”
Beautifully written
Thanks Steph – I appreciate you stopping by.
I love #3! And could you please show the wonder of “Beware Herb Do”? I really, really want to see that1 =)
LOL – yes, perhaps I should have a big reveal. 😉
Fantastic list. Living in Winnipeg as I do, I can identify with number six. I use Burt’s Bees lip balm and “luxurious body butter” in a gorgeous scent – cherry blossom – from a local company called di erbe. And number eight makes perfect sense to me – in my dreams I am always accepting awards for my outstanding writing. 🙂
LOL – I love dream awards! And it’s good to be delightfully scented and moisturized so as to ready to accept those awards, wherever they might occur.
tokyo Milk certainly knows the seduction of a beautiful label and a poetic name….I make my own ultra rich creams and balms, but i would buy that for the box!!!
And yes we are all dancing, singing, dreaming, walking and running our way home!!
Oh how delicious that you make your own creams Kate! But the Tokyo Milk box is wonderful – the inside and the sides of the box are imprinted with gold shapes that look a bit like honeycomb cells so they got the honeybee theme going on all over.
And thumbs up to your addition to the Ram Dass quote – yes to dancing, singing, dreaming and run!!!
I love this list. Especially #3.
Ears to the heart at all times. 😉
OMGosh YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS the world should run on the currency of love letters!!!!! I’d vote for you if you ran for office!! I once stood up in voir dire when I was called for jury duty and told the lawyers and judge that I felt we don’t have a justice system anymore, but rather just an economic system that rules based on the currency produced by the various parties… needless to say, they sent me home, but none of them disagreed with me which was heartbreaking confirmation to me that the system is broken…though the judge did look at me like i had three heads. Next time, I think I’ll add to my argument that, if they really want to right the system, they should make the currency allowed for use in court system: only love letters!! <3
I really applaud your stand Kara. It can be hard knowing you’re not making an immediate difference, but I hold that every time we model fairness we make it more available in some way. And I shower you in love letters!
