Spring and all its flowers now
joyously break their vow of silence.
It is time for celebration, not for lying low.

Just a small stone today – the start of a journal page and a favorite Spring quote. I planted morning glory seeds today along my fence. I look forward to seeing their bright faces in a few months. I hope to add some moonflowers to the mix as well.
Do you have a preference? Are you a morning person or a night owl? Beautiful blue or luminous white? Do tell, you know I love to hear. I’m linking again to Lori Moon’s May Flower Challenge – I hope you take a peek.
Deborah, I love morning glories but I dare not plant them in my county. Here they are considered a noxious weed 🙁 So I enjoy them in flower journals and paintings!
We were visiting our daughter years ago on her university campus. Late one night she suggested we go for a walk to see a garden. I was so surprised to see my first moon garden. The collection of white flowers and the fragrances were amazing. I also was astounded at how bright the whole area was despite the absence of artificial light!
Thank you for jogging my memory about this lovely nighttime jaunt!
Noxious weed is such a harsh designation for such a beautiful, if tenacious, flower. Sigh. But what a lovely memory of the moon garden! I’m sighing for that one as well, but this time in delight.
Seeing as I am writing this comment at 5:36 AM and I have already been up for an hour, I think I would have to say “morning person”. That is a great idea. I planted some bulbs by my mailbox but wanted something else to plant there. It’s a good sunny spot so maybe I will plant something that will vine up the post.
Yep Amy,you qualify for the designation Morning Person. We’ll even admit to Early Morning Person. 😉 I think the idea of flowers vining up your mailbox sounds wonderful.
