is for hand
Wouldn’t it be fun to have patterned hands? Maybe that’s why I like mehndi so much. I’d definitely choose to have flowered hands.
I’m reminded of the Chinese proverb:
A bit of fragrance always clings to the hand that gives roses.
Yes, patterned scented hands would be best!
Here’s today’s index card for the ICAD challenge:
I’m giving myself bonus points for a double “H is for…” entry – those hieroglyphics on my hand are my name Deborah.
While I was doing the card I thought about a zine on hands I did many years ago. So I dug around and found it. I always enjoy finding forgotten old stuff. And I have to say this one is really cool. I’m thinking I’ll have to do some kind of contest/drawing at some point – maybe for my birthday next month – and get some of my old zines back out into the world. The time of languishing hidden in drawers is over.
So tell me – what symbols or patterns would you like on your hands? What kind of scent? What would you like a hand with? What can we applaud you for? Do tell, you know I love to hear.
“The time of languishing hidden in drawers is over.”
wow. this sentence broke me open.
Thank you.
I’m so glad Cynthia Lee! Let’s heed the invitation. Doesn’t it feel all sparkly fun?
Good morning, Deborah! I love spirals and swirls. It’s the Fibonacci sequence in nature that I love. Such Divine perfection! I’d love spirals on my hands, and the scent of myrrh. Love and blessings!
Oh how fun to find your comment this morning Pattie – I was just telling my husband about a dream I had about “Crows in the Fibonacci Tree.” LOL. You would have loved the tree – it was all Klimt-equese with golden spirals.
And yes absolutely, myrrh-scented spiral hands for you!
