What’s not to like about a project in which you get to say something and your participation helps plant trees? And all through a few computer clicks.
Ecotonoha is such a project – designed to nurture a virtual tree collaboratively and simultaneously contributing to the environment by the planting of eucalytpus trees on Kangaroo Island in Australia.
The fun part is as you click on an available blank spot on the virtual tree, a little screen pops us and you can add a short message along with your name that gets posted to the tree. So the tree is literally filled with messages from people around the world. I’ve been adding a message leaf each day for a couple years now, and it’s truly become a daily practice that I enjoy very much.
If you’re interested, here’s the link that will get you started. The links on the upper right part of the Ecotonoha screen explain how to participate.
