Today is the full Flower Moon. Isn’t that a most beautiful thing to celebrate?
How do you celebrate full moon?
New moons and full moons are wonderful times to make wishes and/or do vision boards. If you set intentions at the new moon, then reviewing them at the full moon can be a helpful thing – there’s time to course correct and start letting go of what isn’t serving you as the moon begins her waning cycle. Just taking a moment to stand underneath the moon when she’s full and acknowledge your connection is a simple celebration, and thinking about all the people you know who are also being shone upon by this very moon is a lovely thing to consider. You can set out a glass of water in the moonlight and then drink it with the intention of ingesting the liquid light. One of my favorite things to do is take a late-night full moon walk. I have some of my most creative thoughts during these walks. But most of all I like lying in bed and looking out at the full moon and drinking in the light into all the cells of my body.
