is for heart
The Sacred Rose Council, the council of Angelics I channel, are always talking about the importance of using one’s heart as a compass. This is the path I’m committed to.
I also believe that the world is oracular in natural – they are endless signs and messages of support, of love, of guidance available to us. Always. We only need to keep our eyes open and listen. For me this is one of the joys of every day – just looking, just listening, just opening to receive.
Some time ago a dear friend, Nicole, created this little watercolor entitled “Birthing Love” for me.
She was just opening to her intuitive gifts expressing through art and it was such a delight to have her create it for me. I keep it propped up on a little altar I’ve set up by my phone, and it reminds me to stay heart-focused.
I also wanted to give you a peek at a favorite necklace – a mechanical heart with gears and arrows and moving parts. It delights me, and I always imagine my heart compass must look a bit like it.
And here are some other hearts. A painted stone and a heart cockle shell. And then there’s my fossilized clam shell which is big – about 8 inches.
Today I had a conversation with a friend about how paradoxical things are – how it feels like both so many things have really changed in our world and that things haven’t changed at all. She was ruing her expectations that everything would change on 11-11-11 didn’t come to pass, while I was thinking how much easier it is to talk about spiritual matters these days. People rarely look askance when I mention that I’m a channel and that I read the Akashic Records and that I have angels all around me. That easy acceptance certainly hasn’t always been there. So I celebrate that. AND I wish everyone was on their own perfect-fit heart path and practicing loving-kindness.
I so love this admonition from Hafiz:
“Be kind to your sleeping heart
Take it out in the vast field of light
And let it breathe.”
That’s what I wish for all of us – to let our hearts breathe in the vast field of light.
And so now tell me, what are some of your heart wishes? Have you gathered some heart-sharped objects that you keep? When you listen to your heart, what do you hear? Do tell, you know I love to hear.
“Using one’s heart as a compass.” So perfect. Finding my way, at times, like today, it seems a bit murky. So I went for a walk and listened. Now I know that I was using my heart as a compass. Thank you.
Oh that is perfect Linda!
It’s amazing that hearts can come through so many different objects. I’ll be looking out for hearts in the next few days. Can’t wait to see what I find!
It’ll be fun to see Tat.
