Last night I overheard a tidbit of conversation between a child and his mom. He said there should be more show and less tell. I couldn’t help but grin at that as I’d just listened to someone ramble on and on about something long past the point of any remote interest on my part. Those wise child’s words stuck with me even when I woke up this morning and so today I’m commited to trying out more show and less tell.
Happy Full Moon. This Sagittarius full moon is known by a number of wonderful names including Strawberry Moon. But it’s a tie between my favorite Honey Moon and Rose Moon. Given that I’ve been on rose tree nurturing duty of late I’m most definitely leaning towards honoring this lunar cycle as Rose Moon.
Speaking of roses, here’s a peek at my favorite new earrings. I love the rose-colored core of the lampworked beads and those tiny little rose charm delight me. Aren’t they lovely?
Wishing you a moon that whispers wonderful things to you, be they strawberries, honey or roses.
What a wise child! And such a lovely post!!! Nicole xo
A wise one indeed. And thanks for stopping by Nicole.
I love your moon stories Deborah – I think I’m going with Rose Moon for this one – and those earrings are gorgeous 🙂
We should all be heeding that child I think lol

From the mouth of babes comes great life philosophy! 🙂
More show and less tell is what a lot of writers, especially of fiction are told will help their stories.
I favor Strawberry Moon, the sweet berries being almost enough reward for the hassle of raising them.
LOL. I won’t turn down strawberries either.
I love the moon! Any name will be just fine. Although, I love the rose image. It’s beautiful and shows the true beauty of a rose. 🙂
I do love a sister moon lover. 🙂 And now you’ve planted the earworm of that little rhyme – I love the moon and the moon loves me.
I love that story. Little kids say such great stuff. 🙂
They do indeed.
