One of the delights of participating in the annual A-to-Z Blogging Challenge is the opportunity to meet new people, find new blogs, and make new connections. As a result of the challenge one of the participants, Sue Loncaric, who blogs at Sizzling Towards Sixty & Beyond, asked if I’d be interested in guest posting for a series she’s runs about thriving. How could I resist?
Today she’s got the post up, and I’d love if you’d click on the link below and head over and visit.
The R and the E hit me most. Right now I feel like I’m giving too much to some people and too little to others. I struggle with E and changes, although I know they’re inevitable. And living with heart is something I’ve always done; it can be a huge risk at times.
Thanks for popping over to Sue’s blog to read my post.
Recognizing where you feel out of balance is an essential first step to shifting things, so yay for identifying where you feel out of alignment with giving Margaret.
I think the majority of humans struggle with change, some more mightily than others. But I think the overarching hope is that once we’ve got something to where we like or at least can tolerate it, all further efforts need simply be directed towards maintaining. But systems aren’t static, and neither are we, so in that sense I agree change is inevitable. But I think a more helpful way to approach it is rather than rueing that, is to embrace the power we each hold as agents of change on our own behalf. Then it becomes a beautifully engaged dance in flow.
To live with heart is indeed a courageous thing Margaret, but I can’t imagine we’d really do it any other way.

That was a fine read, Deborah – not that I expected anything less!!! I am grateful to the A-Z that I got to meet you… YAM xx
Thanks Yamini. I’m grateful to A-to-Z for our connection as well. And I have to laughingly admit, I’m feeling the urge to do another abecedarium. We’ll see if I act on it. 🙂
Thanks Deborah – a lovely post! I commented over on Sue’s guest post. Have a lovely weekend!
Thank you Susan. And wishing you a lovely weekend as well.
I find it such a comfort that we can speak read communicate at this level with each other – that these understandings as you so eloquently put them are natural normal and part of who we are. consciousness expanding and holding more light …

Oh Sandra – a name acrostic! What a fabulous idea that I’ll immediately begin playing with. Yours is truly wonderful – and a most perfect capturing of you.
What you say about THRIVE is no jive. [Feeling silly this morning. No disrespect intended.]
LOL – not a hint of dis perceived Ally. Wishing you a most happy, and entirely silly day.
Hi Debbie – I’m looking forward to going over – after glancing at the comments here … I am thriving – that’s for sure … cheers Hilary
Hooray Hilary – I love to hear that you’re thriving! And thanks for heading over to Sue’s blog.
Deborah, I loved your article. But you know how much I value your wisdom and loving, intuitive spirit. I printed it out to put in my journal so I can read your words whenever I need to.
You honor me Carol – thank you! I’m very grateful indeed for our connection.
Dear Deborah,
This is an article I hope finds its way to many, many ‘lost’ souls! Definitely will share it soon too! Thank you for this beautiful gift.

How very kind of you Patty – thank you! I’m touched by your acrostic of my name, and shall strive to live into it more fully. Wasn’t that a fabulous suggestion from Sandra? I love the idea of us all doing acrostics of our names as reminders.
