I’ve been gathering comfort in seeing and reading how various people are examining their own feelings and responses to the tragedies in Japan. There are so many beautiful Light Bearers offering their words and prayers, and I’m sure we’re each finding our ways to what is helpful. Joanna Powell Colbert’s blog post on How We Respond to the Disaster in Japan offers guidance gleaned through a tarot reading, as well as links to other blogs offering ideas and rituals you may wish to check out as well.
As I imagine most of you know who read this blog of mine, I channel guidance from The Sacred Rose Council. Many people have been asking me if TSRC have had anything to say, and so today I asked if they could offer some guidance, some wisdom, something that could help us during this time of grief and sadness and despair over the tragedies in Japan. And here is their response:
Yes Beautiful Ones, we who are always reminding you of your connection to ALL, remind you yet again. When these sorts of events occur that break open the collective hearts across the world it is easier to understand this connection. When you have something around which you are pouring your attention, your relief efforts, your prayers, you are working actively with the connection. There is never anything wrong with this, and we certainly do not discourage you. But we remind you that these connections continue always. Do not get lulled into a sense of tiredness or overwhelm, a sense that this is too much, that you do not have enough to give or share. Simply understand that you are working toward alignment with the flow wherein kindness and compassion and heart-opening is ongoing and not reserved for occasions that seem so overwhelmingly profound. Each one of you will find your own way to respond to this, and other situations like it. Each one of you is called to find that place in you that remembers that you also must find your own filling point – that you must take care to replenish your own heart and body as well. This a balance point Beautiful Ones. You must stand strong in who you are, and yet you must stand soft in your heart. Just as you flow your thoughts and prayers and relief efforts, we too offer our balms and comforting energies; reminders that tears are helpful in cleansing and release, but it is also okay to laugh and add that lightness to the energy mix as well. Each one of you is offered the opportunity – many opportunities – to learn how to stand centered while there are storms around you. We wish you to understand that this does not mean you are detached, but that what you are offering in the moment is centeredness that can help calm; calmness that can bring a chance for inspired thinking and action; and then action which can uplift. Each one of you can always be a help and a blessing in every situation. As you offer your help to those who are suffering, also remember to offer your hands and hugs to those nearest you as well. Each one of you is touched, each one feels the collective wave when shifts occur, each one of you is given an opportunity to remember that every moment is a chance to express Love. We end by reminding you that you are beautiful, you have much support available to you, and that you are loved beyond measure. We are The Sacred Rose Council. Namaste.
Oh, thank you. Thank you! I feel so blessed by this.
