Today Lori-lyn Hurley has invited us to consider the word HEART. And so here’s a look at some of my hearts.
Hafiz said “An awake heart is like a sky that pours light.”
Oh how I want a heart like that.
What about you? What kind of heart do you have? What makes it happy? Do tell – you know I love to hear.
I like to think of my heart as ‘beating’. This helps me see it as a living entity that needs my attention on a daily basis. It also helps me to remember to make time to walk and fill it with oxygen, and then that same heart carries bllod all around that sparks my soul to create and love.
Beautiful Katherine – I love that!
Your picture of the heart-shaped bowl with the feather is lovely. To be honest I need to think more about my heart. I usually only consider it when it bangs in my chest during a long and strenuous hike. Thank you, yet again, Deborah for the nudge to consider it more often. I try to treat it well but sometimes I fall off the track.
The heart bowl is actually half of a giant seed pod. Makes me delight every time I look at it. And here’s to happy well-tended hearts!
