As the great seasonal wheel turns again, wishing you a most wonderful, light-filled, and very blessed Solstice.
And today is the final day of Reverb 14. How did that happen? Much gratitude to Kat McNally for leading us gently through this time of reflection. Today Kat invites us to respond to the following:
Today, I’d like you to revisit what you wrote on 1 December on the first day of Reverb14. How does that compare to where you are now i.e. what can you say today with certainty?
Then, without thinking too hard about it, grab a pen and some paper and finish the following sentences:
In 2015, I am open to…
In 2015, I want to feel…
In 2015, I will say no to…
In 2015, I will know I am on the right track when… But when I find myself veering off course, I will gently but firmly…
In December 2015, I want to look back and say…
I’m still certain about all the things I wrote about on December 1. But now I’ll add, I’m certain I had a good year filled with many delights including burgeoning new blogging friendships. And I’m certain the new year is filled with endless possibilities and I’m excited to see what I’ll call forward into creation. And I’m absolutely certainly wherever our journeys take us in 2015 we can all benefit from large doses of loving-kindness offered to ourselves and to others.
And I’m most definitely certain of this:
In 2015, I am open to seeing and experiencing magic everywhere, and doing my part to spread some as well.
I want to feel focused, aware, intentional; bold, brilliant, and geniusly creative; and wildly prosperous, vibrantly healthy, exquisitely joyful.
I will say no to acting out of habit or holding back because of fear.
I will know I’m on the right track when I’m truly following my heart compass; when I’m at my leading edge; and I feel vibrant and inspired.
But when I find myself veering off course, I will gently but firmly bring myself back to center, renew my focus, and throw in extra doses of loving-kindness towards myself so I can bypass any self-recriminations.
In December 2015, I want to look back and say what an abundantly magical year and how fun I lived it being me full-out!
And now it’s your turn. What do you wish as you enter into this new season? What do you wish to remember about 2014? What do you wish to invite into 2015 with you? Do tell – you know I love to hear.
2014 was a happy year for me, I want to remember smell of the ocean that brought me back from the North. What do I wish to invite into 2015? More silence and more ‘me time’.
Wishing you a perfectly wonderful 2015 Evalina, filled with lots of silence and me time.
I just wanted to pop by and say a huge THANK YOU again for leading me to Reverb14. I can tell you that the magic spreading you hope to do in 2015 has started early, because I can say most assuredly that you have brought it to me.
Reverb has led me to some deep understandings that I would not have reached on my own…and you are the one to lead me to Reverb, so in turn, you have led me to this place of understanding. For that, I will be eternally grateful.
In the new year, I would love to be able to pass forward the profound awareness that you enabled me to possess this year and I hope that the Universe will pay you in kind for all the wonder that you share with the world. <3<3<3
Oh thank you for the kind words and wonderful wishes Sweet Red Clover. And let me say it’s been a delight playing along side you as we danced through these Reverb 14 prompts. I’m so excited for what you’re planning to unfold in 2015 and wish you ease, grace, and a whole lot of joy!
Happy Solstice, Deborah. It sounds as though you will have a great 2015!
Happy Solstice Candace, and wishing you a fabulous 2015 as well.
Yes to more kindness and love. And yes to not acting out of habit. That is a really good one. I am guilty of that. It is so easy to rest on habit. I can’t wait to see what 2015 holds for us and all the creativity that is going to pour out of us into the world! Here’s to a year of VIBRANCY!!!
🙂
Oh yes Tracy – a year of vibrancy and creative wonderfulness! Let’s do it.
Happy Solstice Deborah! I am looking forward to 2015 and will be spending more of it here on your blog. I grin every time I think of you greeting each day by spreading bubbles far and wide. Bubble on.
LOL. I’ll be sure to head some of those bubbles in your direction Kelly. And wishing you a most fabulous 2015!
2014 was the year when we started our friendship as bloggers, Deborah, and I’m so glad of it!
I want to remember the childlike joy with which I was painting for a long stretch of months in the middle of the year. And for 2015, I want to bring that joy back into every creative thing I do: writing, drawing, blogging, and more.
I have a feeling that my word for 2015 will be Heal. That’s not always an easy intention to carry. So I’m leavening it with playful fun, and hopefully some fun art and writing will ensue!
I’m so glad we connected as well Harmony. And I love how you’re approaching your guiding word for 2015, inviting in the energy of fun. May all your creative endeavors be filled with joy and may you find the healing you seek with ease and grace.
Deborah, thank you for sharing how you’re approaching 2015. And thank you for asking how we are.
I spend New Years Day reflecting on the triumphs and challenges of the year. I write them and then do a vision board guided by my word. It’s always love, and another word to hold hands with. I’m still mulling this one over.
In 2014 I wrote this guiding poem
smile
untethered
floating on a sea of beauty
smiling at life (however it shows up)
susan wakes up and sees light
connected (the tether transformed)
a vow of happiness
wondering anew
Oh Susan I LOVE this practice of yours, and the fact that love holds hands with your other word. How does it get better than that? And what a perfectly fabulous guiding poem. May 2015 unfold with great magic for you.
Beautifully written! WOW! What a positive way to look ahead. As always, I enjoy your posts so much! Thank you….
Thanks Elda – and I love when you stop by. Wishing you a most wondrous 2015!
Powerful stuff….and so well written. I’m really hoping to make some changes this year in my approach to ‘the drama’ that sometimes enters my life. I always seem to be picked up and carried off into the frenzy….I need to STOP, be calm and take a moment to see the ‘drama’ for what it truly is…….and most of the time a large part of the ‘drama’ is fear of ‘what if’ this or that happens. Nine times out of ten those ‘what ifs’ never happen…..I need to remember that!
Sounds like a beautiful intentional way to navigate 2015 Debbie! Wishing you a fabulous new year.
I’m going to take some time next week, that limbo time between Christmas and New Year’s , to look back over my calendar and see just what happened to whoosh me into this new more loving and compassionate space. With you, I’m so looking forward to see what is created in 2015.
Sounds perfect Linda. Wishing you a wonderful 2015!
I hope you’re having a wonderful Christmas and I’m wishing you a year full of magic!
Thanks Tat – I wish to same for you as well!
Beautifully said, as always Deborah!
Thank you for all your wonderful responses to the Reverb14 prompts. I gained so much from journeying with you… so much so, you are now a permanent fixture in my blog reader.
I also want to thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for all the wise, supportive and encouraging comments you left for other participants along the way. I loved how you really GOT IT: your generosity of spirit made this Reverb community something truly special.
Very much looking forward to walking the path with you in the new year, my friend.
xx
Oh Kat – I most definitely consider you one of my treasure finds of 2014. What a beautiful community you welcome and inspire and nurture! And so many kudos to you for the hard work you put into it. I’m truly pleased to call you kindred and friend, and I wish you a most fabulous 2015.
