Blessings at the Equinox and Happy Spring for those of us in the northern hemisphere.
I’ve been feeling the pull of Spring for a while now, and I’m SO happy it’s officially arrived. I’m taking this admonishment from Hafiz to heart:
“Spring and all its flowers
now joyously break their vow of silence.
It is time for celebration, not for lying low;
You too – weed out those roots of sadness from your heart.”
Doesn’t that sound like the perfect invitation for this season?
And utterly appropriate for this International Day of Happiness, the annual event organized by the United Nations to promote the idea that feeling happy is a global human right.
I wish you a most blessed season in which your heart blossoms in unabashedly lush and abundant joy.
Happy Spring! I have snowdrops and grape hyacinths out in the garden, tulips well on the way, and the plum tree is just about to burst into blossom.
How lovely Kathleen – Spring is such a sensory delight!

The calendar may say that… around here, Ma Nature has other notions!!! Feels like ours is a few days away yet, but you never know. She can turn on a dime! YAM xx
ps – I did get spring fever though… am now A-Zing in four places. Yup, you read that right – 4 places!!! I set up LinkTree ‘coz I was losing count… Yxx
LOL – you DID get feverish! You boggle my mind with the idea of four challenges. Have fun! I can’t wait to see your posts. Our weather seems to be matching yours in that Old Man Winter isn’t quite ready to give up his place of honor and there’s a bit of a squirmish with Spring. It will all eventually work out though, no way around it.
Keep calm. Stay wise. Be kind.
I like those goals. It’s a mantra I shall adopt today. As I begin a season of celebration.
A season of celebration indeed Allie. Enjoy every day!
I tried to comment earlier, but the system ate my comment. All I was saying is I like this and the link. Thanks.
Apparently it was just a faux feast, and your comment actually just momentarily glitched out of existence. The unfathomable mysteries of all things computer-ish,,,
Hi Deborah – Spring can take its own time … we’re betwixt and between – ‘cept at the moment it is wonderful … and the plants are really a-glowing in places – always love the Spring Bulbs … stay safe – renewal is here for us all on this side of the planet. Hilary
We’re in the midst of between times as well, but it’s always such a delight to catch the first glimpses of the popping bulbs. Wishing you safety, renewal, and much happiness Hilary.
PERFECT…MY FAVE TIME OF YEAR…The Spring peepers are wide awake:), the crocus are up, and the ROBINS are here!!! YAY!
BLESSINGS TO YOU, FRIEND!
How perfect Vicki. I haven’t spotted any robins here yet, but that’s always a day for celebration when they show up. Happy Spring!
